BRIO - DRY SCREED ELEMENT

With Knauf Brio Dry Screed Elements, you have an alternative for finishing cement-based screeds that take a long time to dry! These innovative gypsum elements combine lightness, rigidity and thinness and are suitable for a variety of projects and rooms. As a bonus, they offer optimal acoustic and thermal comfort. There are several variants for thermal and acoustic insulation. Due to the excellent thermal conductivity of gypsum fibre, Knauf Brio is perfectly compatible with an integrated floor heating system. The thermal insulation properties of polystyrene help to reduce energy consumption and increase comfort; a wood fiber or rock wool underlay reduces the transfer of contact noise to the lower floors. Material losses are limited: all elements are connected with special glue and screws. In addition, the screed can be walked on after 24 hours. Knauf dry screed elements consist of cellulose fibers and gypsum. These fibers are arranged in the same direction during the production process, which gives the board greater strength. The gypsum boards are constructed from monolithic elements and have a milled rebate, which ensures fast and flawless assembly. The screed panels are completely dimensionally stable: expansion and contraction are excluded on a robust and levelled surface. The Brio dry leveler is very practical in this respect. It is an aggregate that can easily level out unevenness’s of 20 mm and more. The filling layer can be used for cables or pipes. Dimensions of screed elements: 1200 x 600 x 18/23 mm
