Carbon Negative Boards are building materials (OSB, Particle Board, MDF) with up to 100% recycled material, conceived for green and lightweight construction and decoration. This next generation of wood-based panels are responsible products, made for sustainable living. Carbon Negative boards have equivalent technical performance, and better environmental performance. For example, the global warming potential of 1m³ of OSB is negative for the production stage: -1.220 KG CO2. This means that for each cubic meter produced, more than one ton of CO2 is stored in these panels. So, these panels have a carbon negative footprint. This is mainly achieved by our production process philosophy. The whole production process has been reinvented, and largely inspired by the circular economy: we collect, we recycle and we reuse. In the process of sourcing wood, we have established clear priorities: 1st choice - recycled wood; 2nd choice - sawmill residue; 3rd choice - sustainable forestry wood. Moreover, by extending the wood lifecycle and turning it into high-quality wood-based panels, CO2 originally stored in a tree is kept stored long-term in our boards.
