Over the past 30 years, the city of Oslo has been requalifying the edge between the city and the fjord. By pushing port facilities out of the center, the recaptured water's edge now hosts mixed-use neighborhoods with Oslo's most important cultural facilities and offers a multitude of hedonistic activities. The talk by Studio Herreros, authors of the Munch Museum and Trosten floating sauna in Oslo, reflects on how well-programmed buildings and public spaces can contribute to a healthier and more stimulating community life.
