At some point we all perceive the force of destiny, which makes us take those steps and choices that are within us, in our experience and in our history. Companies also have their own destiny, and it was for this reason that a centuries-old history like the one of Enrico Cassina (a Milanese brand founded in 1850) has given birth to the creation of contemporary-style lever handles whose name is INEDITA. A collection in which all skills, knowledge, experience and obsessive attention to detail have been reinvented and experimented within a contemporary key, in a new, free and autonomous vision. From this idea came the creation from scratch of a series of handles in which these skills could be expressed freely, launching a message that is a true promise of joy and happiness. The design of this collection is once again entrusted to the architect Alessio Rigamonti, who has embodied in this collection the idea to perfection. INEDITA is then the new collection that brings the prestigious and historical brand Enrico Cassina to the contemporary world. The WINTER, UPPER, LEONTIA and VASILIJ handles are the first four in a new collection that will be told in episodes. WINTER: A simple, versatile and streamlined lever derived from studies on the alar section. This linearity allows to emphasize its finish. LEONTIA: An elegant lever, like the person to whom it is dedicated: Doña Leontia Orsini Diaz. A handle in which the apparently rigid dart shape is resolutely ergonomic at touch. VASILIJ: "the answers are out there, you just have to look": this handle originates from an abstract composition by Kandinsky and generates lines of force in space in a way... unprecedented with respect to the function of the handle itself. UPPER: When we open the door and we touch the handle, in that very moment we enter a harmony close to the architecture itself. Hence UPPER's kind attitude, getting up and approaching the meeting of the palm of our hand.
