REFLEX ABTF WATER REPELLENT CONCRETE

REFLEX is a water-repellent concrete that combines aesthetics with durability. It consists of a highly efficient waterproofing agent for the production of architectural concrete and for concrete parts with low water absorption. The use of this waterproofing agent in concrete significantly reduces the risk of erosion damage such as the action of salts due to freeze-thaw effects or signs of visual impairment such as efflorescence. As a result, it improves the durability of the concrete and its performance over time. The waterproofing agent incorporated into EXPRESSIVE Concrete reacts with the cement matrix during the hydration process and generates a hydrophobic concrete texture. This hydrophobic effect reduces capillary suction and reduces the concrete's water absorption capacity. With these properties, the occurrence of efflorescence and freeze-thaw damage is minimised. This product has unique characteristics which allow it to be used in different types of works, particularly in permanent water-buried structures, as well as in exposed structural elements.
