Prix Régional de la Construction Bois 2024

Organized by Fibois Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Prix Régional de la Construction Bois awards the region's finest timber structures every year. The 2024 edition met with great enthusiasm, with 119 entries received! A professional jury, meeting on April 17, selected the 8 most exemplary structures according to the following criteria:

For “building” projects:

• Environmental quality and energy performance

• Technical performance of wood

• Creativity and innovation

• Use of French/local resources and wood from sustainably managed forests

• Architectural quality and integration into the landscape

• Reproducibility

For landscaping projects :

• Quality, design and integration of space

• Relevance of wood use

• Environmental quality

• Creativity and innovation

• Technical performance of wood

• Use of French/local resources and wood from sustainably managed forests

The trophies for the Prix régional de la construction bois will be presented to the 8 winning teams (architects, project managers, design offices, timber companies) at ARCHITECT@WORK Lyon, where they will be able to express their architectural approach and discover the films made about their projects.
