Maarten Schaubroeck is a passionate artist and designer, specializing in steel. For 20 years, he has been creating monumental sculptures and functional artworks that blur the boundaries between art and design. His work is unmistakable, from the iconic metal cats along the E17 to the robust gorillas that traveled around the world. Each creation tells a story and invites interaction with its surroundings. In his studio, IZR, artworks, furniture, and installations are born, combining strength, structure, emotion, and poetry. Whether it's a monument in public space or a custom-made piece of furniture, each project is unique and well thought out.
