J160- Heavy-Duty Hinge with 160° Opening

Concealed hinges are easy to install and extremely effective. They dominate the market for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture. But with doors that are over 600 mm wide, they reach their limits. In order to carry wider, heavier doors severals hinges has to be used. One big problem is that the upper hinge is increasingly stressed and can fail early. What's really stronger is a bigger hinge. Sugatsune has succeeded in developing a new hinge with the combination of heavy-duty, 160° opening angle, damper function and one-touch installation. The J160 can carry up to 40kg and up to 900mm wide doors with just three hinges. For smaller doors up to 25 kg two hinges are sufficient. This does not only require shorter planning and installation times, as a smaller number of hinges is required, but also simplifies the installation through the one-touch installation. The wide opening angle of 160 ° allows a wide swinging out of the door which allows full access to the cabinet, without the door standing out in the room. In addition, the hinge is equipped with an integrated damper that gently closes the door.
