Zephyr Mesh by Solid Studio is an innovative product for architects and facade designers. It is a flexible architectural mesh for double skins. Suitable for many types of use (rehabilitation, ventilated facades, sunbreaks, railings, acoustics, etc.), Maille Zephyr is a contemporary moucharabieh offering complete creative freedom and adapting to all geometries. Maille Zephyr is infinitely customisable on 3 parameters: its pigmentation, the fullness and emptiness and its pattern. The innovation offers a lightness that facilitates its implementation and its creative potential. An asset that allows it to create curves, folds and generate volume. Flexible and light, Zephyr Mesh is easy to transport and store. A mechanical attachment system developed in partnership with the Elioth by EGIS design office makes it easy to assemble. It also demonstrates tenacious resistance with the use of a stainless steel mesh (316 stainless steel). Promising and innovative, the company is now financially supported by the Brittany Region and the BPI, which see in it prospects for development in France and internationally. The start-up recently raised private funds from an American investor who understood the development challenges, particularly in hot countries. Indeed, Zephyr Mesh responds to the problems of sunshading, which are becoming more and more prevalent in certain regions of the world. The ultra-high performance fibre-reinforced concrete used in this product comes from a formulation developed by Ciments Calcia. As Solid Studio's true partners, together they are pushing the limits of EFFIX ARCA. The material is 100% recyclable and 100% local, depolluting, self-cleaning, ultra durable and made from recycled carbon fibre. Supported by the BPI and the Brittany Region, Solid Studio is developing its own production technology and works closely with the Elioth design office (EGIS group).
