MATERIAL INNOVATION: TOWARDS ECO-RESPONSIBLE CONSTRUCTION

Publication date: 20.11.2024

At a time when environmental urgency is redefining our priorities, how can we reconcile urban development with ecological resilience?

Faced with the paradoxes of growth and preservation, the choice of materials becomes a crucial lever for shaping sustainable buildings adapted to climate challenges.

The MAGENTA EKO material library offers a concrete response to these challenges.

At this year's ARCHITECT@WORK Lausanne, a selection of ecological, high-performance materials will be unveiled, offering a renewed vision of sustainability. This approach is part of a circular economy, aimed at reducing the environmental impact of buildings while ensuring their resilience in the face of future upheavals.

Taking a global approach, the matériauthèque enables architects, engineers and building owners to compare and select materials according to criteria of environmental performance, carbon footprint and user health. The samples on display, accompanied by full-scale demonstrators, illustrate tangible solutions for a more resource-friendly and sustainable construction industry.

ARCHITECT@WORK thus becomes an opportunity to reimagine the way we design our buildings, placing resilience and sobriety at the heart of every choice. The MAGENTA EKO team will help you explore these innovative materials.
