Based on Trendwolves research on housing happiness, Tom explores how Belgians experience today and tomorrow, what challenges this brings, and how architects can respond to it. Herman focuses on demographic and generational developments and links them to relevant scenarios for architects. In a carefully constructed choreography, Tom and Herman dance around themes such as decentralized public infrastructures, 'dumb homes & city living rooms,' AI tech, the synthocene era, nostalgia vs. futurism, social rewilding, and the need for both calm and unbridled expression.
