Urban façade bricks wrap around the building like a protective skin and accentuate its form. They combine diverse forms of expression with the coarse feel and subtle play of colour of fired pottery, thus bridging the gap between urban tradition and the present. The innovative façade brick combines the durability and longevity of exposed masonry with the advantages of a removable and diffusion-open rear-ventilated façade. Thanks to these properties, it is recyclable. In addition, Urban is 30% lighter than conventional façade bricks. The energy required for producing and transporting this robust outer skin is correspondingly lower.
