THE DOUBLE HELIX

A Techno Metal Post consists of a metal shaft and a base helix. This helix is the part that transfers all the loads from the structure to the bearing soil. The diameter of the helix can be different according to the compactness of the soil. If it is necessary to reach great depths in order to achieve good soil compactness, we can add a second helix to limit the anchoring depth of the Techno Metal Post. By adding an extra helix, the load can be distributed over two helixes. In this way, we can stop the pile in less compact soil because we are applying the load to different helixes of the same pile.
