SUBLIME

The landscapes of Burgundy inspired this collection, which captures a very rare type of local limestone origin that is now unobtainable and whose quarries have been exhausted. We visited the places and did a thorough research of materials in those territories, which we then processed in our workshop where we developed a particular technical and creative process to recover this specificity. We have thus obtained a surface characterized by haloing and small details, while still keeping it balanced: fossil inclusions become very light and the typical color alternations are toned down in favor of a more compact and uniform background furrowed by veins that, though low in contrast, are well readable. The result is an effect of soft and refined essentiality, ideal for realizations with a contemporary language, even in all-over versions.
