With the Schöck Sconnex® type W, the continuously insulated building envelope becomes a reality and optimises buildings in terms of building physics, economy and especially on a design level. For the first time, thermal bridges on highly loaded reinforced concrete walls can now be insulated directly in the connection detail to storey ceilings and floor slabs. This can reduce a building's heating energy losses by up to 10% and ensure reliable protection against structural damage caused by condensation and mould. In addition to the design freedom, there are also economic advantages such as the overall optimisation of the construction process, a gain in usable space and cost optimisation for the insulation system.
