RECYCLED TEXTILE WALLCOVERING JEWEL

Jewel, a long-lasting textile wallcovering that fuses high performance, low environmental impact and recycled content. An industry innovation, Jewel is unique for its combination of two yarns: polyethylene tape yarn, which gives the wallcovering a shimmering effect and thus its name, and thin recycled polyester yarn, which introduces dynamic colour. Because Jewel is woven with a base of super-strong polyethylene, it is an incredibly durable high-performance product. In combination with recycled polyester, it creates a sustainable, luxurious, tactile wallcovering that outperforms typical textile wallcoverings. With three different colours used in each dynamic colourway, Jewel has a uniquely crafted textile look and silky feel. Produced in Vescom’s own weaving mill, Jewel includes 18% recycled content. This innovation adds to the material’s existing environment-conscious credentials. Thanks to its inherent high-performance properties, no finishes or coatings are applied to the final product. Free from phthalates, plasticizers, PFAS, chlorine, heavy metals, toxic dyes and ozone-depleting chemicals, Jewel achieves the highest level of flame retardancy (B s1 d0) and is stain-resistant, colour- and lightfast, easy to clean and disinfect, durable and non-absorbent by nature.
