A wooden surface project that combines business research with the rhythm of the circular economy.
This is why the business partnership with Alisea was born on this ground of common values fertilised by a thought for the future of the planet and the wellbeing of its inhabitants.
Alisea - Recycled & Reused Objects Design, establishing itself as the only operator making Reuse and Recycling a form of corporate identity since 1994. All the materials used for the production of the items are treated with innovative transformation processes, which guarantee quality standards practically identical to virgin materials.
"Graphit", the wooden flooring created from an innovative production process, generated by the demand to give new life to several tons of graphite, coming from the processing of industrial plants, with related issues of time, space and annual disposal costs. The act of recycling contributes to the virtuous model of the circular economy, which involves a gradual decoupling of economic activity from the consumption of finite sources and the design of waste out of the system.
"Graphit" has given a new look to the material texture thanks to a special industrial process, with some manual interventions, which involve a pigmented base on which a graphite powder paste is applied and completed with the application of a protective finishing layer of opaque oil, the result of a specially designed mixture. This overall treatment, which involves several manual steps, significantly affects the chromatic effect of the surface enhanced by a greater depth of pigment and at the same time the naturalness and transparency of the grain. A colour palette ranging from grey to more intense shades to black has demonstrated optimal resistance to the physiological process of colour oxidation (once exposed to UV light).
