Kerrock WR stands for "water-repellent".
A special process gives the solid surface material Kerrock a much reduced surface resistance. This means that water will run off faster and stick less to the surface. This is particularly interesting with Kerrock sinks and washbasins. Less soiling occurs (residual water, lime deposits, etc.) and you can also clean Kerrock WR more quickly and easily. Less rinsing water is needed and fewer detergents have to be used (cheaper and more ecological).
Most "water-repellent" materials usually only have this effect temporarily and only on the surface.
With Kerrock WR however, the effect is permanent and also through-and-through in the mass of the material. It retains its properties even after maintenance and even sanding, etc.
