HEARTFELT® GROOVE

HeartFelt®, the modular felt ceiling system from Hunter Douglas, is being expanded with a completely new type of panel: HeartFelt® Groove. This box-shaped panel is available in the size 60 mm (width) x 50 mm (height). The panel is installed to the carrier with a module of 80 mm. Consequently, the gap between the panels is 20 mm. The new Groove panel is available in five shades of grey and five earth tones. It is the first panel where Hunter Douglas managed to create a twofold deformation of the felt strip (a kind of ‘W-form’), which is unique for the linear ceiling market. The particular Groove panel with its ‘W-form’ delivers a clever optical end result: when looking at this ceiling system, you seem to look at a very slim panel, 20 mm wide. The ceiling system optically gives you the impression of a big number of slim lamellas (all with an optical distance of 20 mm). Whereas due to the technical suspension system, the number of installed panels is half than you would think, making the installation very simple and efficient (for the user of the space, the actual number of panels is not visible). With HeartFelt® Groove, you are able to create a very elegant, subtle ceiling finish which enhances the visual and functional performance of the space. Due to the specific W-form, the Groove panel is especially firm and rigid (without adding any additional material). Considering this aspect, the Groove panel is also particularly suitable as a wall panel, offering amazing acoustical properties with an authentic and warm look and feel.
