Free standing sliding shutters Torbel

Torbel is proud to present the new Freestanding Sliding shutter mechanism. Shutters closed, the new system eliminates the visible rails on the building façade that are present in the case of existing systems. In the closed configuration, shutter and rail blend. For the upper rail, on opening, the telescopic mechanism opens out accompanying the shutter through its course. The lower guide rail is hidden behind the shutter. The new concept is compatible with all types of shutters (wood, aluminium, PVC, …) up to 30kg per panel. Torbel propose the personalisation of the upper rail cover in terms of colours and length. A motorised option is available with a drive unit positioned under the lintel with rack and pinion transmission. The drive mechanism is hidden from the exterior and installation is possible from inside the building.
