Patricia Urquiola fascinated by the company’s historical archives containing the infinite variety of woods and styles developed in over 100 years of activity, the designer has taken her cue above all from a product of the 1960s, which was a great success at the time. Patricia Urquiola combines tradition and innovation to give rise to wood patterns in the form of a grid. ALPI Quadra focuses on the concept of volume. A geometric ton sur ton surface, emphasizing the orderly lines of the grid and combining wood varieties based on the warm natural tones of oak and walnut.
Of great decorative impact and with a contemporary language, ALPI Quadra skillfully combines chromatic harmony and balanced forms.
The innovative character of the product is the reinterpretation of two classic woods for interior design - such as walnut and oak - made contemporary through the introduction of a white gemetric sign.
